Welcome to Buffalo Anger Management. Services at Buffalo Anger Management include individualized and group education sessions aimed at helping you to achieve your anger management goals.

Program participants will learn skills to help them manage their emotions more effectively,  manage stress, increase empathy, increase self-control, communicate assertively, and to improve overall functioning. Our Approach to Anger Management

At Buffalo Anger Management, we believe that anger is a normal human emotion. Anger isn't always negative, but can become negative when it is not handled in an appropriate way. Many people are challenged by anger, stress and frustration in their lives. While some people have the skills they need to manage anger, others have not learned or been exposed to healthy anger management skills. We are here to help.

Meet The Executive Director

Samantha Janosick, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker and certified anger management provider (coach) with experience in mental health, school system and substance abuse services. She has worked in outpatient, inpatient, and long-term settings. Her experience includes service provision in healthcare, school and university settings. She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families.

Samantha presents nationally and locally on various topics, including anger management, trauma-informed care, and building inclusive spaces for at-risk populations. She is licensed by New York State to provide psychotherapy. She is also a Certified Anger Management Provider.

She co-authored an anger management workbook, Managing Our Anger, Managing Our Lives, which was published in spring of 2016. She also is the recipient of the prestigious Business First’s 2018 30 Under 30 Class award.

Samantha's core values include client-centered care, client-driven coaching, flexibility, accessibility and quality service/care. Samantha feels grateful and honored to be able to share in her clients lives and journey.
